February 2020 – CropIn was recognised as the ‘Best Mobile Innovator’ at the 10th mBillionth Awards, organised by the Digital Empowerment Foundation India, held at New Delhi this February. CropIn’s farm management solution, SmartFarm received the Chairperson’s Distinction for 2019-2020 in the Agriculture and Environment category for enabling agribusinesses to manage crop output through data management.
Over 110 nominations across South Asia were received for the Annual mBillionth Awards and Conference. The event featured innovative projects and initiatives by entrepreneurs across seven sectors.
Winners and finalists were announced in the following categories: Agriculture, Business, Culture, Government engagement, Health, Inclusion, Media and Education. The event also featured keynotes and pitches on digital excellence and impact.
